The IRV identification system with the endangered species protection tag is considered to be the only functional identification process for finished goods made of reptile leather. It is based on a fully developed registration program that

1. offers a complete proof of origin of the used material for all processing steps and thus the allocation in the qualities and quantities identified in the import notifications and the final products, i.e. the so-called proof of identity
   
   
2. allows a fast and secure identity check via the easily understandable coding of the endangered species protection tag found on the product
   
   
3. ensures the possibility of tracing every single item.
